I finally approached Chris when I knew my body was failing me and I needed help. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience that never fails to amaze me. I’m a runner and for some reason it started to hurt my body after a year running, and I just couldn’t work out why. Within 5 of me standing up and then being laid down he pinpointed my problem. An old injury I thought had recovered, seems not, but he put me at ease and said, I told you I would find out why and I can help you. I cannot thank him enough. Just to know why my body was failing was good enough because he rectified it for me. I only wished I saw him the day after I was injured and didn’t leave it 2+ years assuming it would go, Chris is an absolute diamond. Thank you

Chris, at Adfitness, is one of the best PT and physios that I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is able to pinpoint, with precision, what is holding you back physically & mentally whilst remedying it there and then with you walking away with an action plan to prevent it from reoccurring.
One recent example was that, despite my playing rugby 5/6 times a week for over an hour a time, my stamina and endurance was declining & visibly getting worse, with myself not even able to tun for longer than a minute without having to stop for 5 minutes because I felt I couldn’t breathe & my muscles weren’t getting any oxygen. I went to Chris because I knew it was bound to be something inside me not quite working right & Chris has set me right so many times before.
Within an hour Chris had pinpointed that my Diaphragm had “jacked up” due to my pelvic floor acting up, and had me do a few simple breathing exercises and stretches to reactivate my inactive muscles. Since I’ve been able to play a full game to completion just by following his advice to keep those muscles active & functioning properly.
I would thoroughly recommend Chris for both his NKT & PT sessions. If I were to give a reason why you should book a visit with Chris is because he is able to point out AND remedy any issues or muscle inactivity that you might have hindered your fitness in the past, i.e. My diaphragm!
Chris is very welcoming and patient and is more than willing to go the extra mile to ensure you leave happy and content, not only with your body feeling better, but also with the knowledge to ensure your body stays functioning as it should.
I cannot recommend Chris enough – I visited him with very little movement in my shoulder and tremendous pain. Within 2 visits he had my arm movement back and pain almost gone. His knowledge and expertise had actually isolated the problem to my neck and worked on my neck muscles to bring instant relief. You will be in a safe pair of hands.
Thank you. For the first time in 2 years, I have no pain in my hip. Not even a little niggle. All the sports massage therapists and physios I have seen have years and years of experience, but none of them managed to get to the bottom of the problem – I genuinely thought it was something I would have to live with for life. By taking a little time to take a full history, you identified a weak ankle I didn’t even know I had, and worked through the implications of that and the hotch potch of seemingly unconnected symptoms it was causing. I hadn’t realised how off balance I was. It’s hard to describe how I feel – not only has my pain gone, but I feel solidly connected to the ground with both feet. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris, I can’t believe what a difference a one hour long session has made. I am a convert to Neurokinetic Therapy.
For the last four years I have been experiencing extensive probles in my right shoulder – I was a competent volleyball player and gym user. 2 years ago I was advised to give it all up due to this injury.
Since then it feels like I have been passed around both in the NHS and privately continuously. Everyone could identify there was a problem and that the shoulder was not moving right but no one, nor any amount of MRI’s, X Rays, Physios or Acupuncture, etc, etc; could explain why. 2 years on with no one able to provide any answers I began to feel like a write off, I am only 24!
Recently I was advised to contact Chris, I did so without much hope, thinking it would be just the same as every other countless physio I have seen. I voiced this to Chris and he accepted the challenge.
I knew by the end of my first session of NKT with Chris that this is not the same. I have seen Chris only twice and am seeing more improvement than I have experienced with the various treatments over the past 4 years. I am already able to use my shoulder in a normal way and have reduced pain. I would both Chris and NKT to anyone out there with an injury they just cannot seem to tackle, or the NHS just don’t seem to have the time to deal with.
5 stars for a top therapy and top bloke. For the first time in years I am, to use Chris’s words, cautiously optimistic about returning to an active, healthy and pain free lifestyle! Highly recommended.

Chris has been fantastic with his support throughout my training this year. He has very extensive knowledge of NKT (Neurokinetic Therapy), which has been absolutely invaluable due to the fact that I see him every week with a new issue! He is able to correct my posture and make sure I use all the correct muscles that I should be using when running. Chris is extremely supportive and I would highly recommend anyone seeing him if you suffer with any long standing injuries or simply wanting to sort that “niggling pain’. Thanks Chris!

After having a very nasty fall, i enlisted the help of Chris to make sure my damaged ankle recovered in the correct way. Having his knowledge of muscles and ligaments has meant that he has been able to get it working again and although i have a long process ahead, i‘m grateful to have Chris to help me through exercises and rock taping.

I started running again at the end of December 2014 with a view to competing in the Forest Spring Half Marathon. I had heard lots of really positive feedback about Chris and his approach to personal training so I thought he would be a great choice to help move my running forward.
Sure enough, after only a couple of weeks Chris had me working to various plans that suited my lifestyle and was easy to incorporate into everyday family life.
I ended up finishing the Forest Spring Half Marathon with a personal best of over 18 minutes and couldn‘t be more delighted! I have since pushed on from there and so has the training, with Chris adapting to my ever growing training schedule!
I would HIGHLY recommend Chris to anyone thinking about improving their fitness, whether it be to achieve a specific goal or just to get fitter and feel better in themselves.

I‘ve been seeing Chris for well over a year on and off for PT training, usually when I‘m injured and don‘t know what to do with myself.
The sessions are great as they are always tailored around your needs, Chris will assess your abilities and find your weaknesses so you can work on these areas to become stronger in these areas and hopefully prevent injury.
His PT sessions are always professional but still manages to make them fun and interesting. He‘s a great motivator who I would always highly recommend!

I recently had a 1 to 1 session with Chris to devise an appropriate exercise regime to facilitate the quite large gaps between the half marathon events that I run.
The task was to ensure that my event preparation was not hampered by a low level of fitness.
Chris very quickly grasped my needs and talked me through what he felt I should do to achieve my objective, not only that he explained why, which is hugely important to an athlete of any level.
He also added a number of exercises that would both help maintain my fitness but that also addressed the historical injuries that I carry.
I also asked his advice in terms of my general nutrition, the advice I received has already improved things for me.
I have to say that I was very impressed with Chris in terms of how he approached things and the way he conveyed his ideas and expertise, which is clearly extensive.
I have been around the fitness world for many years, however Chris installed a new level of confidence and I learnt a lot from him.

I started training with Chris 9 months ago, after losing 7 stone, I really needed to increase my very limited fitness level and seriously tone up. Embarking on this journey and losing fat, losing flab I never thought I‘d enjoy a gain, but I did, I gained a very valuable allie.
What I‘ve achieved with support from Chris has been invaluable, using a mix of cardio, weights & boxercise, my overall strength and fitness has improved so much in such a short space of time, I‘m now able to perform exercises and lift weights I‘d never attempted on my own.
